Join fellow behavioral health providers for a discussion of best practices for patient advocacy.
We will explore what we can do to increase cross-provider referral, to work with insurance companies, and to engage politicians for changes in legislation.
Presenter: Jen Carvalho - Group CEO, Azure Acres & The Camp Recovery Center
Jen brings a diverse set of experiences in organizational leadership to Azure Acres and The Camp Recovery Center. Her background in substance abuse treatment includes years of practice as a CEO and board membership of non- and for-profit treatment centers. Indeed, Jen is passionate about making addiction treatment available to all who seek it. She is currently a board member of the CA Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) and has been instrumental in creating and growing regional sober living coalitions and treatment provider networks.
Jen is a trainer for the CA Certified Treatment Executive program and is additionally committed to mentoring those that work in the field and to excellence in clinical service. She stays grounded by involvement in recovery, family, and adventure.
